You may not know me yet, but there’s a pretty good chance I already know a whole lot about you (and your dress). As the Logistics Coordinator at Ladies of Lineage, I’m often your behind-the-scenes bridal bestie before you’ve even had the chance to meet me. Once you say yes to your gown and leave the showroom with that post-appointment glow, my work begins. I’m making sure your order is placed correctly, every detail is accounted for, and your dream dress is officially on its way. Think of me as the person quietly working behind the curtain to make sure everything you’re excited about actually happens. And happens perfectly. And happens on time.

A typical day for me involves a little bit of everything—and usually a lot of tabs open on my computer. I’m double-checking orders, reviewing sizes and measurements, confirming colors and customizations, communicating with designers, checking timelines, tracking shipments, and making sure the tiniest details don’t slip through the cracks. And because bridal gowns are definitely not a “set it and forget it” kind of purchase, there’s always something to follow up on. I might start my morning answering a designer email, spend the afternoon tracking down a gown update, and then suddenly get the best notification of all: your dress has shipped! Cue the excitement.

And this is where my favorite part of the job comes in: the pickup appointment. After all the emails, order checks, tracking numbers, and behind-the-scenes coordinating, I finally get to meet the bride and see her in her dress. At this point, you’re like a celebrity to me. We try it on together, make sure everything fits and looks exactly as it should, and take a moment to appreciate that this is the gown she’s been waiting for. And if something isn’t quite perfect? Don’t you worry—I’ve got you. We’ll work through the details, make the adjustments, and do everything we can to make sure you feel amazing. Because we’ve never had a bride walk down the aisle in something she didn’t absolutely love—and we plan to keep it that way. No matter what it takes.

That’s really what makes this job so special. I get to be your behind-the-scenes bestie long before you may even know my name, quietly making sure all the pieces are falling into place so that your experience feels effortless. There’s an entire team behind every “your dress is here!” moment, and I’m lucky enough to be one of the people making it happen. So while you’re dreaming about your wedding day, I’m probably somewhere in the background making sure your gown is exactly where it needs to be, exactly when it needs to be there.
