Tell us about your experience at Ladies of Lineage!

My experience at Ladies of Lineage was fabulous! Everyone was so welcoming and comforting, truly making me feel and look fabulous. They made the process so easy. Daniella was my bridal stylist and I could not have been luckier. She felt like another friend/family member shopping with us!

Tell us about your wedding!

As a creative individual I loved being apart of everything from the smallest details to the biggest. My main scheme was centered around chartreuse and my favorite flower, calla lily. My mom wore a chartreuse dress to my sister's wedding a few years ago and ever since I've loved it! It really brings out the elegance of a calla lily, so everything was primarily white and green (with a few pops of blue to please the hubby haha).

As a graphic designer, it was important to me that I was able to do a lot of the designs. I created the entire invitation suite (including all hand-drawn artwork), from the save the date, to the rehearsal dinner invites, to the bridal luncheon invites, to the wedding programs etc., the koozies, cups and napkins with my dogs face on them, the signage for the food stations and bars, etc. The hand-painted Veuve bottle is what I gifted each of my bridesmaids when I asked them to be a bridesmaid. I also hand-painted/drew custom playing cards as that is one of my husband and I's favorite things to do when we're traveling or checking out a new brewery. These were our wedding favors, which I also framed for our guest book.

I also designed custom trucker hats "Just Dieu It" as a nod to the venue, which I have grown up going to since I was a little kid and even worked at for 7 years. I grew up working events and weddings at DeBordieu so it was nice to come full circle and have mine there.

My mom had a sapphire jacket that my dad gave her, which she had made into four matching rings (for me, my 2 sisters, and mom) that I wore on my wedding day as my something blue. My favorite special detail was the ribbons I painted with the names of our loved ones no longer with us. These were tied to the stem of calla lilies and placed in a vase to honor them. A lot of personal touches went into pulling this wedding together and it was so special to me that I was apart of this. I loved seeing everything come together in such a cheerful and colorful way!
