Tell us about your experience at Ladies of Lineage!

I heard wonderful things about Ladies of Lineage from previous brides and when I arrived they absolutely exceeded all expectations. They were so professional but I felt so comfortable like I was with my friends if that makes sense. Elizabeth took my inspiration and curated a beautiful selection of dresses for me to try on, when I tried on my dress I instantly knew. Alex and I met in London and the designer is based in London, her name Sassi was also my childhood nickname bc I was always "full of sass" (stars aligning!!) I would recommend them over and over again, what I thought was going to be the most challenging part of wedding planning turned out to be my favorite part thanks to Ladies of Lineage! <3

Tell us about your wedding!

Our wedding took place in Wilmington, N.C/ Wrightsville Beach which is second home to me, I've been going there since I was a baby! Our ceremony was at St. Pauls and our receptions was at Cape Fear Country Club. When it came to colors I really loved the idea of a black & white wedding with hints of green. The flowers were white orchids with tropical greenery ( which Fiore went above and beyond) We asked all out guests to wear black attire and all my bridesmaids were in different shades of gold and champagne with different textures and designs. Since Alex and I met in London, I wanted to incorporate that throughout our wedding: our guest book and coffee table books (on the lounges) were books I collected each time I went to England! I really loved the idea of a tented wedding so to have the best of both worlds we did a tented cocktail hour and reception & dancing inside! Gigi (SLP Events) took all my inspiration and executed it perfectly. My signature drink was a Pickle Martini ( I highly suggest everyone try this) and Alex's was an Old Fashioned. Our stationary was one of my favorite things, Alison took all my crazy ideas and created stunning wedding invitations and day of items. All of our vendors went above and beyond and it was such a special day I wish I could relive it!
