The Loretta was the very first wedding dress I tried on, and it truly was love at first sight. From the moment I stepped into Ladies of Lineage, Anna made the entire experience feel so special. She was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and intentional, and made me feel completely confident in the dress I chose. What I loved most about Ladies of Lineage was that the experience felt just as special for my friends and family as it did for me. Every detail felt luxurious and personal, and it turned such an important moment into a memory I will always cherish. I have never felt more beautiful or more like myself than I did in the Loretta. It will forever be the best dress I have ever put on, and I feel so lucky that I got to wear it on the most special day of my life. 🤍

Tell us about your wedding!

From the beginning, we wanted our wedding to feel timeless, romantic, and quintessentially Charleston, but most importantly, we wanted it to feel like us. Soft blues, greens, natural textures, and florals created an elegant Southern coastal feel that paired beautifully with the historic charm of Charleston. We tried to incorporate pieces of our story throughout the day. Carter and I met at Clemson our freshman year, so our wedding felt like the celebration of a love story that began years before we ever imagined this day. One of our favorite personal details was our fishing-inspired escort wall, a nod to Carter’s love of deep-sea fishing, complete with fish-shaped place cards and miniature fishing rods. We even carried the theme into our custom “Two Less Fish!” matchbooks. Some of the most meaningful moments had nothing to do with décor at all. I chose not to do a first look with Carter, which made seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle even more emotional. Instead, I shared first looks with my bridesmaids, mom, brother, and dad. Having those quiet moments with some of the people who mean the most to me before the ceremony are memories I will always treasure. Ultimately, we wanted the day to be beautiful but never lose sight of what we were celebrating. It was romantic and elegant, but also incredibly personal, sentimental, and so much fun—a reflection of our relationship, our families, the people we love, and the life Carter and I have built together.
